We are used to posting elsewhere more regularly than on our own websites. I wanted to change that. And I thought, it’s not necessary for it to be a long post. I wanted a place where I could share quick updates and other ideas I’d like to talk about. So here it is. This is my first micro blog, I am calling it Musings.
To start things off, I am rebuilding my web design business, including this website. I’ve just rebranded from Coach Buzz Magic to Bamboo Tree Branding. I used to work only with coaches before; however, now I am working with a more diverse group of people. I’ve also recently delivered an online workshop on websites and am excited about what the future holds to create our own branded spaces. I feel that building your business on rented land alone isn’t a smart strategy. If a business seeks to keep serving for 5+ years, it should definitely think about building its own platform. Yes, 5 years is the average time it takes for a business to establish itself. Building your own branded website as you build your business is definitely a smart move.
